After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and pursuing postgraduate studies in Economics and Business, Sonya started her career in marketing. However, she quickly realized a traditional career wouldn’t achieve her goals. Determined to take control of her financial future, Sonya pivoted into real estate investing. She discovered that well-selected and well-managed investment properties provided both substantial capital gains and ongoing passive income.

Several years ago, becoming aware of the increasing global unrest and realising the geographic and liquidity limitations of her real estate portfolio, Sonya turned to Bitcoin. With her commitment to low time preference investing and deeply understanding her investments and the markets they existed in, Sonya came to understand Bitcoin not just as an asset, but as a revolutionary technology. After dedicating over 5000 hours to self-directed learning, Sonya recognized Bitcoin as not only the best monetary technology humanity has ever discovered but also a powerful catalyst for both individual and cultural transformation.

Today, as a Bitcoin Mentor and educator, Sonya is dedicated to helping others embrace financial independence and self-sovereignty through sound money. Combining her expertise in both real estate and Bitcoin, Sonya offers hands-on guidance to help individuals navigate both the physical and digital elements to understanding Bitcoin and navigating self-custody and succession planning best practices for Bitcoin.
